To make sure my design work meets your expectations, I have a four-step process in place to guide me throughout the project. This process helps me stay on track and make sure my designs align with your needs and objectives.

Phase I:

Before I start any design work, I take the time to research your project thoroughly. This includes meeting with you to understand your goals, target audience, and expectations for the project. I also conduct market, customer, and competitive research to gain additional insight. Once I have gathered all of this information, I will summarize my findings in a creative brief and provide a project schedule to ensure that everything is delivered on time. This research phase is important for ensuring that our designs accurately reflect your needs and goals.

Phase II:

Once I have completed my analysis and you have approved the initial concepts, I can begin the design phase. I prioritize your communication needs and preferences in every design decision, from color choices to image selection to font styles. Typically, I present several different creative approaches before narrowing down to my main ideas. Based on your feedback, I will refine these approaches and present comprehensive design directions. As part of this process, I will provide at least three creative concepts for you to review and evaluate.

Phase III:

After you choose your preferred creative direction, I will move on to the design execution phase. During this time, I will work with you to select images and gather any necessary copies for the final design pieces. I will provide draft outputs for you to review and ensure that your input is incorporated into the designs before they go into production. Once we have achieved both your and our own quality standards, I will prepare the design pieces for final production. I will also collaborate closely with any third-party vendors (such as printers) to make sure that the finished product meets your expectations.

Phase IV:

After the design work is finished, I will follow up with you to evaluate the success of the project. I am interested in hearing your thoughts on my process and designs, as well as any feedback you may have received from your target audience. If you would like, I can work with you to design additional materials or make any necessary updates based on your feedback. This follow-up phase is an opportunity for us to learn from the project and continue improving my design process.
